Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great look, but too fragile, break easily Like many others have stated, I love the look of these but have had multiple problems. I've had them almost 2 years. The glass has cracked at all the locations where the metal meets the lens. Two small fractures in the center and larger fractures at the corners. The metal arm pierces the rubber on the ear piece. The nose pads are very small, not much padding and leave impressions on my nose, one actually popped off and lost it down the drain while cleaning them. I love Oakley and the glasses, wish these were better built or Oakley replaced them because of the fractures.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the looks, but issues with the frames. I absolutely love the look of the Keel glasses on my face; they are nearly invisible. However, I'm on my second set. The ear pieces detached constantly from the first pair and they were replaced without cost. Within months the replacement set started doing the same, ear piece detaching from the lens at the most inconvenient times. Also, the wire part of the frame has pierced the back of the earpiece leaving a sharp point sticking out. So top marks for style. Absolutely top marks for the superior Oakley optics. Bottom marks for durability and the design of the attachment to the lens. As much as I love the looks and light weight of these frames and lenses, I'll be switching to a different style.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great looks horrible build. I bought these glasses fully aware of how fragile people said they were. I bought them anyway because they look so great. Day 3 right lense disconnect from nose bridge. Day 15 nose pad popped off and lost. I love how the keel looks and feels between issues. You'll have to weigh if the looks are worth the hassle of repairs. Yours will break no question. A question for Oakley - how did these glasses make it from design into production without someone questioning the build quality. The quality of your products are typically good. What happened with the keel?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the price Is usually only buy Oakley frames and up until now, have been pleased with there quality. This Keel frame is very very fragile. My glasses are about a month old. I decided to wear them for the second time to a reunion on Saturday night. After putting them in my shirt pocket while eating dinner, I removed them to find the arm fell off. This is ridiculous since they were nearly $500. I have been trying to reach Oakley to file a warranty claim, but get left on hold for a long time. Maybe it's time to switch to new brand. Stay away from these frames!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So happy with first pair I decided to get another Well after a few days with these glasses I finally got used to their only drawback. However that drawback is likely also present in any full rimless glasses, reflection in the bottom inside of the lens from light coming from above. I was pretty rough with my first set and it was only after 2 years that I had a "problem". That problem was the left arm wasn't staying attached to the lens. Guess the pins aren't as tight as they once were. No big deal I probably tweaked it cleaning them. These things are light. Not flexible though so I'd recommend only to someone who has worn glasses and doesn't have a face that touches the arms at the temple area. There is no "spring" hinge so care should be taken. I'm not sure what the best part on these frames is. I really like the nose pads. These are the best I've ever worn. The only question I have now is do I get a third set and get them made into prescription sunglasses

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fragile Ordered these specifically for their looks. The first pair arrived broken. The second pair (warrantee replacement) arrived whole but broke while the optometrist was installing the lenses. All in all, probably a good thing because if they are that fragile I can imagine they would have broken fairly easily with day to day use. Good news in all of this is that the warrantee covered everything and the customer service was good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed Within 60 days small splinter cracks started to appear at where the bridge connects to the lens. Within 90 days the rubber temple grips started to slide off of the arms. Within 120 days the left arm started to come unattached from the lens. I have worn eyeglasses for over 30 years and this is the first time I experienced a quality issue with my eyeglasses. I am quite careful with my glasses and I do not recall at any time did I intentionally or unintentionally do anything to cause the issues I have encountered.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Rimless frame. The most expensive frame I purchased so far, but it broke in less than six months. Supposedly (according to the folks in the store) the frame itself is strong, but the hinges break quite easily. Please do not buy this frame.
