About the frame

The bold look and relaxed attitude of Armani Exchange captures the Italian designer's urban edge with eyewear that's young, but always timeless. The Modern Edition collection blends shiny and matte finishes for a masculine color palette. These men’s designer eyeglasses in matte black metal lend a sleek minimalist look to the rectangular shape. The iconic A/X logo leaves a subtle signature on two-tone cellulose acetate temples. These mixed material frames are flexible yet strong as well as hypoallergenic. Flex hinges resist bending and give a comfy, adjustable fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First pair of glasses This is my first pair of prescription glasses. I felt I needed them because my eyesight would seem tired from time to time and I felt this mainly happened because of my IT job . I got the lenses to help with that issue and it does ok for that. But not good for when my eyes get tired looking at tv. When my eyes tire and I try to used these glasses to watch TV it makes the image more blurry than if I don’t wear them at all. I don’t know if I need different lenses that can work on both a computer screen that’s pretty close in relation to how far the TV is when I feel a need to use these glasses to help me see better?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and strong I've been wearing glasses since elementary school. Over the years I've had basic wire-framed glasses that seem to corrode & break easily. Now that I'm older, and have small kids, strong frames are a must. I've had this pair for 3 months now and they've been pulled off my face by little hands and thrown on the floor a few times so damage! My old wire frames would have popped a lens or have to be reshaped by now. Needless to say, they're well worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overpriced and uncomfortable Big waste of money. I was shocked at how much that I ended up paying after insurance with all of the add-in fees that were covered by insurance. I'm sorry, but I feel that optical providers are adding excessive costs that are no covered by insurance in order to cover their large overhead. I will buy my glasses online and pay roughly half next time. This review process is a joke and you guys should be ashamed of trying to only post positive comments.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Frames look terrific but... The perscription part was not to my satisfaction. My wife called just days after picking up the glasses and told them that we was not happy with the perscription lens on the glasses and wanted to have them redone but they told her we would be charged a fee to replace the lenses. After spending over $600 already I declined. I should have probably went to a different lens store my mistake.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frames good but lenses are terrible The lenses seem to have a permanent marking in it which you have to look directly straight to see perfectly. If you turn your head you see doubles and light glare.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Glasses are fine, but customer service/ care SUCKS I ordered progressive lenses with my frames. All I was told was, "Be careful walking down stairs." I was NOT told that there's a gigantic distortion field between both prescriptions, and that the size of the distortion field can be adjusted. Glasses were so loose that when I bent over, they almost slid off. All this company wants to do is make money. Thanks for nothing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Microfiber cloth = Sand paper I paid for the scratch resistant lenses, and within a month, they were scratched all to heck... and the only thing I used was the microfiber cloth that came with them. Meanwhile, the glasses I got from Coastal that I wore for three years are still going strong. So I'm back to wearing those.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still not great I bought these about 2 months ago. Thought they would be better but still can not see the golf ball 200 yards away. Thought that the prescription was my trouble but does not seem to be. My vision is better with these - when I look out of each eye it is clear and not blurry like my previous pair. Purchased them from Lenscrafters a year ago - should of returned them under the 30 day policy. Only purchased the recent pair because the price was 60% less than a year ago. Everything is the same as a year ago.
