Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good glasses, with a couple of issues I've had these about a month now. My vision through them is excellent, and I really like the appearance of the frames. Quibbles and issues: (1) Ray-ban progressive lenses are evidently not available with the widest-possible in-focus viewing area. That's unfortunate, as the optical quality is quite good, but I have to abide by the older approach to wearing progressives -- "Point your nose at what you want to see." I fI had insisted on wide-field lenses I'd have had to go with a different vendor and it would have taken longer to receive my completed glasses. (2) Ray-ban is obviously very concerned that you never forget that you are wearing Ray-ban lenses. Thus they are compelled to etch their logo ON BOTH LENSES IN THE FIELD OF VIEW! This is crazy, and it's a genuine bother to me. Why would anybody do such a stupid and self-defeating thing? ("What's that in the upper right -- a piece of dirt? No, it's Ray-ban reminding me yet again that I'm wearing their stuff!) So I'm sacrificing part of my field of vision (see above) in the service of Ray-ban's advertising.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grate service I had insurance for last 3 years. I did not use for 2 years. Unfortunately I had some issue and the location handle my situation so nice. I really recommend to purchase insurance and the service is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My New Glasses The frame is relatively delicate, but it is understood since the lenses are make-up part of the frame. The auto-tint is nice, I will get this option again on my next pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blends in instead of standing out I wanted a pair of glasses that didn't stand out and were lightweight. These are perfect. I wouldn't recommend them for someone that is hard on their eyeglasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sharp looking specs. I'd planned on buying these glasses to wear on special occasions but they're too nice to leave in the box. I've gotten compliments on them from day one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed in this product I wanted rimless frames for my new glasses when I visited the Frederick store (MD) in 2018. Only two frames were available for me to choose from because (I was told by the staff) "they" are trying to discourage the use of rimless glasses because of their unreliability. I chose the Ray-Ban frames because of their long-standing good reputation. They were nothing but trouble from the start and when I visited the Winchester (VA) store for an adjustment a few months later they told me that the frames were broken at the hinges and needed to be replaced. Because this was covered by the warranty, I agreed to have the glasses remade. Unfortunately I could NOT order them with a different frame or I would have done so. Now after about three months the glasses need to be adjusted again--a constant issue with rimless glasses apparently--so I will return to the Winchester store where the staff were most helpful and gracious. Next April when my insurance will cover the cost of a new pair, I will try to select an unobtrusive lightweight metal frame that will last me longer than these Ray-Bans have done and that won't need so many frequent adjustments.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So-so I’ve tried several rimless options at Lens Crafters and all of them are poor substitutes for Silhouettes. Just as expensive, but lower quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My great glasses from Lenscrafters Love my glasses. As this is my first “real” pair and considering they are bifocal they have taken some getting use to but easy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but questionable correction I brought a recent prescription from elsewhere to LC because that other provider had discontinued the frame I wanted. I found a very similar frame at LC and decided to have them make my new (no-line bifocal) glasses. I learned that the Varilux lenses I wanted (and had been used to for years) were very, very expensive; LC's own premium no-line lenses were about 25% cheaper, and the helpful salesperson assured me they were as good. After a month of wearing them, I can report that the new glasses are much more comfortable than my previous glasses. But the transition from distance vision to closeup vision seems wrong to me. I'm having trouble working at my computer without tilting my head backward awkwardly to access the proper "range", even when I move the computer screen to and fro. And focusing on objects 3 feet or so away from me (like products on store shelves) is more difficult than it used to be. To be fair and honest here, I don't know if it is the (LC lens) glasses or a less-than-accurate recent prescription (from elsewhere) that is causing these issues. But I do wonder if the "gradient" from distance to closeup on these lenses differs from what I was used to, and whether I should have paid more for the Varilux lenses.
