Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad choice of hardware The personnel at LensCrafters are first rate 100% professional people. That said, these frames are not. They do work, and fit well, but the hardware isn't up to par. I need my glasses all the time. Consequently, I clean them 3X or more daily. I usually use Dawn detergent and water (since Dawn cuts grease, and my lenses get coated from my oily complexion). This must be why the screws and/or the backing plate for the nosepiece rust. I have had them 2 weeks before I returned them to LensCrafters and they replaced the frames. I am now experiencing the same issue. For what I paid counting progressive bifocal lenses I expected more quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent glasses I was looking for basic glasses that would be covered by my insurance. No frills, no coatings, etc. To my surprise, the salesman did not try to upsell. I got what I asked for. It was a quick and easy process and the glasses were completed and available for pickup the same day. I am totally pleased with the glasses. They are comfortable and attractive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great glasses I am completely satisfied with the glasses I recently purchased at LensCrafters. I am very happy with the change from my previous glasses. They fit great. I had to go back and have them adjusted twice and now they are exactly as I want them very comfortable to wear.. The staff was very helpful in selecting the frames and making sure everything was correct. Completely satisfied with my purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight, comfortable, reasonably priced This is my second pair of this (or a very similar) model. The first pair lasted 5 or 6 years and were replaced due to prescription changes and general scratching of the lenses. The old pair had a hard, plastic nose piece. I broke one of the prongs during cleaning with lens tissue. The nose piece cannot be replaced so I used super glue to repair them and they lasted another 2 years or more. The new frames have been upgraded. They have a soft, flexible nose piece with wire inserts in each prong for added strength. I don't anticipate having any problems with them. It looks like the nose piece may be replaceable, however I don't think this will be necessary. I would prefer cable ear pieces, but I don't think anyone offers them anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Built I have had these frames in two different prescriptions and I like the way they hold up. They do not bend very easily nor do they break. I am very happy with these frames.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New glasses Any manufacturer of glasses should know that corrosion restoration materials (brass or bronze screws )should be used. The screws for the bridge nose piece are rusty. An for as much as I spent on these glasses I will have to take time I don't hav to go back wait and then get it corrected.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Falling apart I bought these about a month ago. I visited a Lens Crafter in Appleton Wi. For an adjustment and which was great. Two weeks later the nose piece fell off and I returned to the Hyannis Ma. Store and it was replaced. A week or so later a screw that holds the lens in fell out while I was cleaning the glasses. Went back to the Hyannis store again and both screws were replaced and the nose piece was checked. Your people have been outstanding in handling my problems. Not so sure about your product.
