Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent fitting and glasses We cannot praise Sam Rutter at the St Clairsville, Ohio store enough for his excellent fitting, advice and care for my husband and myself. He took care of us with our previous glasses also. We request him each time we visit. He is a very important asset to your company. Thank you, Sam!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light weight and comfortable. I needed some readers that were light weight. As I have problems with glasses that are heavy on my nose, causing headaches, everything I found in regular stores were not meeting this need. Now I have the perfect fit with my new glasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new glasses My wife had bought her glasses here and based on her recommendation I did the same. I was surprised they were able to make my progressive lenses on the spot and I was able to pick them up 1 hour later. They are a great fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! Linda (don't remember her last name), who has been there several years now, is *wonderful*!! She's kind, understanding, and very good at what she does! I would be most glad to return for a very long time for my eye wear needs! My glasses are indeed very good and though I did pay a bit extra for the Blue-Blocker technology, I do think they are helping my eyes not be as strained at the end of the day. Thank you! Thank you!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay but I paid too much My optometrist suggested I consider progressive bifocals and since I had money in my flexible spending account that needed to be used or lost by the end of the year, I went ahead and got them. Had I paid out of pocket for them, I might be more dissatisfied. Several people have told me I paid way too much for these glasses and I will definitely do more shopping around next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I never have a problem with the glasses that I get from Lens Crafters. The cost is comparable to others. The service is great and you don't have to wait weeks to get your glasses. The company stands behind their products. You can always go back for an adjustment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too much glare and reflections I bought these frames for blended bifocals last November, for a new but only slightly changed Rx. I wanted to use my “old” (1 yr) frames which I had purchased from LensCrafters but was told that it would cost less to buy new ones for new lenses. I chose this frame from the “economy” group and thought that by selecting the “frameless-on-the-bottom” style I would have the least interference in my vision through the frames. On the contrary, the portion of the lense without an opaque frame at the edge lets in far more glare and reflections of light than the framed edges of my “old” frames, and it is far more difficult to see through the new lenses! Add that to the fact that I have incipient cataracts, too undeveloped to qualify for surgical removal but present enough to cause vision difficulties in the face of extreme glare and reflections on the lenses of the glass. I paid over $575 for these new frames and lenses and cannot afford to pay for another pair of frames and new lenses this year, so I am unhappy with the new glasses which I no longer wear, instead I wear inexpensive readers for close up work.
