Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome glasses. I own two sets of these... They fit well, and I've been super happy with them... I own the Black Iridium lense as well as the new Prizm lense... Undecided which I prefer more, they phone serve good purposes. The Black Iridum is a bit darker and better for the super bright outdoor days, it's also nice because they make it harder for people to see your eyes (reflective)... The Prizm is a bit lighter, great for driving and average days. They're not reflective so people are able to see where you're looking - not a pro or con, but an observation... OVerall I wear the Prizm more mostly when driving... I really like the standard frame of the Turbine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome all round sunnies... I had been shopping for about a month after losing a pair of my favourite fitting and performing sunnies (another Brand) - unfortunately that style is no longer in production. I was continually frustrated when trying on sun glasses when they didn't provide the same 'side' protection that my last pair had given me until I tried on a pair of Oakley Turbines. I do a lot of fishing and driving and these are perfect - their light weight means I can wear them for hours without knowing they are there and they fit just perfect - I look forward to a long relationship with my new brand, Oakley - one happy customer!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Options and fit? Look no futher I have 3 pairs of the Turbines. Each pair has their positives. I have a LCD screen in my vehicle which is very hard to see with a polarized lens. I have a set with the silver mirror lenses that I use for driving purposes. I also have a custom set of red/black Turbines along with a shelf matte black/black iridium polarized set that I use for golf and daily use. All 3 fit my face awesome and I constantly get asked "What type of Oakley's are those?" I used to wear M frames and Jawbones because it was very hard for me to find a frame that would properly fit my face. Just like with any glasses or accessory they are very individual specific, but these are the ticket for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reality Revisited The frame of sunglasses is a matter of personal taste. However, the Turbines could be rated as a "sports frame". Wide, elastic, lightweight. But what really makes these shades perfect are the lenses. Clarity is exceptional and glare is eliminated effectively. Also, prizm lenses tend to make some colours a bit more...vibrant. But just a bit. Like a picture prossesed effectively through Photoshop. Also, I personally find the lenses perfect throughout the day, from mid-cloudy days to great sunlight. I live in Greece and to whoever is accustomed to the sunlight this country offers, I wouldn't care for darker lenses than these. Overall, great product for everyday use under all weather conditions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be Cautious About Frame Size if Gifted I purchased these for my boyfriend for his birthday. Got the black w/black polarized lenses. He was so excited to see that he was getting a new pair of Oakleys. These were one of the pairs he was looking at originally and wanted to buy. When he put them on, he thought he was wearing women's sunglasses because of how big the frames are. Loved the clearness of the polarized lenses and the fact that they were black Oakleys, but they were just too big for his liking and they looked too big on his face as well. Great quality, just be wary on the lense size. Should probably try on in a store somewhere before ordering.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good feel .. Greater look !! Love the way these sunglasses look and I'm very picky !!! Con: The plastic arms of the frame feel kinda rough along the top of the ear lobe .. would be great if the ends were covered all the way around much like the nose grips (VERY comfortable)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Awesome sunglasses! But.... So I normally don't write reviews but this seems necessary to write. First off the positive. I've had these for a little over a year now. I'm abusive. I admit it. That's why I own Oakley's. I have a fat head too. I lost my hijinx and decided to switch to another fat head pair. These are awesome. They fit well, they stay on my head well, and overall I've used them for construction, hunting, hiking, chainsawing, you name it. And they held up. Now the negative. Which is why I gave 3 stars. The ear socks after a year are starting to disintegrate. I can't find replacement ear socks for them anywhere and the local Oakley outlet said they don't make them. Undoubtedly rubber begins to break down. I am currently going to buy either the antix or another pair of hijinx once the ear socks completely bite it. Overall, these are great sunglasses for casual wear. But keep in mind in a year the rubber will fall apart and you might as well buy a new pair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh Bought these to replace my broken Eyepatch 2 which lasted 3 years. I work in construction and spend all day everyday in my shades. Have had these for about a year and a half. Pros. Comfortable, good fit, good coverage Cons. Not as sturdy as some of the larger frames I'm used to. The rubber sides have begun to literally melt from exposure and use and leave a tacky sticky residue. Would not recommend for long term outdoor use. Overall pretty bummed with them.
