Rated 5 out of 5 by from G15 Polarised & New Wayfarer I was in Italy (home of Ray Ban now) and stumbled on a pair of new Wayfarers with Polarised G-15's. Not the cheapest pair of the lot, but definetely the best. Brilliant for driving, on water etc. Optical quality is fantastic, G-15 polarised is one step above the already very good G-15. When in doubt, take the polarised ! I am hooked to my new Wayfarer and Polarised G15's !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The New Wayfarers! While shopping for a brand new pair of prescription sunglasses, I veru carefully gleaned through my optometrist's shop. At first, I didn't see anything that stood out to me. But desperate for a new pair, I did a second run through and stumbled upon the New Wayfarers in the honey color. They are absolutely without a doubt the most comfortable sunglasses I have ever owned and they are beautiful. They are tremendously complimentary on everybody who tries them on. I highly recommend them and would say that they are most definitely worth it. So much so in fact, I'm getting a second pair and the Tortoise and beige combo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Ray-Bans yet! I recently bought a pair of these glasses & actually got a defective pair that had one of the lenses cut wrong, so the polarization was wacked out! After wearing them for a few days, I couldn't take it anymore and took them back to the store to return them (thinking that they were designed that way and it just did not work with my eyes). Luckily, they had me try on another pair and test them out in the sunlight, and they worked perfectly! Now that I have been wearing the new pair for a while, I don't think I would ever go back to the non-polarized lenses. I love these sunglasses and they are a great looking style. A positive review for the sunglasses and the customer service at the Sunglass Hut store here in Arizona.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth the dough I shy'd away from buying expensive sunglasses and I regretted it. I bought these and they make me feel awesome when I wear them, but also they are performance glasses. The lenses make everything look so crisp from very bright light to low light at dusk. love these...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool shades This is a great pair of sunglasses! Aside from the lens being polarized, the frame feels sturdy and not cheap. I got mine in tortoise brown plastic frame with brown polarized lenses, and let me tell you it looks great! It looks pretty good on formal wear especially if I'm wearing a suit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome glasses This is my second major purchase for sunglasses. I won't name my previous pair, but suffice it to say that they were more expensive and less impressive. Style: First, a little background. I'm a college student and a member of a fraternity, so it almost goes without saying that the classic wayfarer style is very popular with most of my friends. I decided to buy the new wayfarers instead because I have a relatively small face and these just looked better on me when I tried them on in the store. Overall styling is a solid A. I feel that these shades can go with anything I wear, from a tank, shorts and sandals to a suit. Durability: The frames are quite substantial, and even though the lenses are glass, I feel that these glasses could hold up to a great deal of abuse (especially when compared to my previous pare of wire-rimmed sunglasses, which I was constantly worried that I would accidentally bend beyond disrepair). Clarity: The campus that I live on is already pretty scenic in the springtime, but these shades managed to make everything look better. Maybe it's the green-based tint of the lenses, but everything looks more vibrant, from the grass and trees to the blue sky to the red bricks of the buildings around me. Additionally, I was very satisfied with the fact that there was no perceptible warping through the lenses. Straight lines remain flat. Ordinarily, warping issues are my biggest pet peeve in glasses, but these passed the test. Polarization: I decided to toss in the extra $50 for polarized lenses because glare really bothers me. A lot. These glasses performed well, especially compared to my previous pair that turned glares into refracted spectra of light (this was mildly annoying, and not much of an improvement). One maintenance issue, however: the glass lenses, being glass, attract dirt and grime. I swear, it's like they're magnetic. I have to clean them at least once daily because apparently skin oil is corrosive to the scratch-proof coating on the glass. Final note: If you do decide to pony up the quite large amount of cash demanded for these bad boys, don't do it online. I bought mine in a sunglass hut in the mall and they were able to zap the frames in a way that makes them malleable enough to be fitted to your head. As already mentioned, I have a small head, and needed some significant adjustments so that they didn't slide off when I bent over. After the frames cooled, they were as hard as a piece of plastic with a metal rod inserted normally is. They still fit well, and the store keeper told me that I could come back whenever I wanted for a free re-fitting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are PERFECT I absolutely LOVE these glasses. I have a hard time finding glasses that fit my face type because I have a wide-flat face. These were a perfect fit. They look great on everyone who puts them on. The style is timeless and looks good with any outfit. The lenses are polarized and even though they are considered "green" they just look like a gray/black. It makes it very easy to see no matter what time of the day it is. Driving is easier now that I don't have to squint like I did with my cheap wal-mart glasses. If I could do it all over again, I would buy the same exact pair :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not So Disposable My earliest memories of my father are vivid and framed in pictures of him stepping down off an airplane in his flight suit; his face streamlined by his Ray Ban Aviators. I always wanted to wear those glasses - it seemed to be the apex of my father's coolness and I thought if I could get a pair of those I could be as cool as my dad was. I've never had much disposable income, but four months ago I decided to ignore that and buy the pair of Ray Bans that I have wanted since I was a boy. Unfortunately my head was too small to sport those Aviators whose memory had been calcified into my brain since the early 80's, but I caught a glimpse of the classic Wayfarer with its perfectly pulled corners that only helped to take attention away from the size of my head. I held my breath and purchased them. Instead of thinking about the price, I thought about my pilot father who would have been proud of me for wearing the brand I rarely saw him without. My Wayfarers are the best personal purchase I have ever made and have now become a necessity. And when the time comes for me to buy a replacement pair, the money used for them will never again be referred to as disposable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love em! Last year I purchased the 2 tone Wayfarers in my prescription to work outdoors in. I got them polarized so cut the glare down. Loved them so much I purchased the same pair in 2 tone yellow, no prescription for the beach. Now I am waiting for my 3rd pair of Wayfarers that I had fun designing and customizing to arrive. This time I am getting the gradiant lenses for driving glare. A girl can never have enough Ray Bans. I am a firm believer in protection for the eyes! Well done Ray Ban.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this pair of Raybans. They are so stylish and the price is not to bad compared to other places with this same pair. The Rayban Wayfarer sunglasses actually look good on anyone no matter the shape size. They are also really lightweight and are not tight at all. I recommend getting these. I love them :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from customer service The first pair I purchased were too small for my face. I called customer service about whether there were other sizes and was helped by a very nice man. He explained the sizing based on the sizes of my reading glasses, measuring was conducted during the call. Based on these measurements, he then recommended the correct size and helped me reorder my glasses. The new ones are perfect and he couldn't have been more helpful or more courteous. He is the reason I will buy from your company again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the new deal of a classic The new revised classic wayfairer is a great for those who enjoy the nostalgia and minimalism of this style of sunglasses but do not like the way the orignals sit or look on their face. I have always wanted a pair of wayfairers mostly in part to their long standing history as the cool beat style of shades and their ability to transcend any of the current trends. For years I've tried many styles of sunglasses from various oakleys to wild pairs of dolce gabanas. For the time being they seemed cool but the trends either fell off or in the case of owning a pair of oakleys seemed too sporty to wear outside of working out. I am really happy they rounded off the sharp edges of the orginal pair when they created this new pair. If your like me and your nose is big, crooked, or do not like the sharp flat features of the originals then i'd suggest trying on a pair of this revised pair of wayfairer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forever in style: Wayfarer If your not sure what shades to buy, look no further. Size, gender, and facial shape matter not. No one can wear the wayfarer (new or old) perfectly. They are not meant to be worn as a "perfectly fitting" pair of shades. That's not the point. They look good on anyone. They feel good on anyone- at least anyone I have asked. When you own a pair, you are participating in something that is iconic. You are making a statement about your style; you are timeless, not trendy, bold not outlandish, cool but not disconnected or wrapped up in only one area of your life. Casual or dapperly dressed, these shades always complete the look. Make a statement without making a statement; wear your wayfarers with pride, just make sure they don't wear you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Style I have the same style sunglasses in brown and black. I even have the eyeglasses in black. I get nothing but compliments on these glasses wherever I go. You can be dressed up in a suit or wearing a T-shirt and jeans...these glasses define that you have style and seperate you from the rest of the crowd. I feel that they express confidence and draw attention. Before buying Ray Ban, I would buy cheap imitations that would break in about a week of wearing them. I've put my Ray Ban's through heck...dropped them, stepped on them, sat on them, dropped and kicked them while walking, etc. They still look great thanks to their sturdiness and durablility. I think I'm going for aviators next!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sunglasses I bought these today and love them. They are made of very high quality materials. I tried on the original Wayfarers, and the tilt of the lenses did not fit my face well. These suited me perfectly though! These are my first pair of Ray-Bans, they are definitely the first of many!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it So I was wanting to exchange some aviators I bought for some other sunglasses, but I wasn't sure what I wanted yet. I tried these on since the sales associate said they were brand new. I instantly fell in love! These wayfarers still look classic without having as big of a frame as the originals as well as having 1 mm larger of lenses. The slant is not as sharp as the originals, but that doesn't matter to me. These glasses look good on anybody! And personally I don't think that you will need the polarized lenses, so you don't have to pay another $50!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excited I have been wearing corrective glasses for 45 years and finally took the plunge and had Lasik surgery. Now I can FINALLY wear sunglasses!!! I was so excited to be able to go shopping for a pair of sunglasses. I took forever to pick out the perfect pair as I need to protect my eyes from direct sunlight. I just love my Ray-Ban's and know I will have them for a long time. They are timeless, fashionable, sturdy and classic. The sales assistant at the Sunglass Hut was just wonderful with helping me pick out just what I needed to protect my eyes and look great too. I am happy-happy-happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not bad. Not bad at all. These were my first pair of Ray-Bans. I originally went to the store for the originals, but when I tried the new-style Wayfarers, I ended up changing my mind. I really like these, especially the POLORIZED lenses. Yes, these are a bit flexible and have a bit of a durability concern to them, but that shouldn't really matter if you take care of your investments. Just my opinion. Overall, these are the best sunglasses that I have ever owned. Can't wait to buy the originals next.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Special Ops' I wear these instead of the ones they issue us on the Team. They are great at night or day; still allowing colors to come through no matter the weather. I use them in rain and can navigate even better with them on during inclement weather. I can run while wearing them, drive, jump and dive (with the band attached). I've taken a tumble or two with them and they survived as well as I did. They go with anything I wear. I've taken them inside and in the low light I can still make out what I need to see. They feel good; they ARE good. Buy a pair. Stop wasting your money on the cheap stuff at the mall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them I am an utter, unabashed clutz and just love Ray-Bans for the fact that I cannot damage them. It seems no matter how many times I inadvertently knock them off my head or drop them, I pick them up to be once more amazed that they remain unscathed. On top of that they are so stylish that all my friends want to try them on and dream of when they can afford them. I tell them they are worth the money for as long as you don't loose them or have them stolen they will last forever. I will never buy another brand. I love this style as it is a classic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Glasses There is nothing better than the polarization by Ray-Ban. I will say that I got this size but, the 55's fit way better. On the sizing, it should read "Kids and small woman" because there is NO way that this size is comfortable for a person with a "medium and large" face. If you doubt it, order these and then go to the sunglass hut in your town and try on the 55's. I guarantee, you will like the fit of the 55's better and trade in your 52's for 55's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NJ Wayfarer Wearer I absolutely LOVE these glasses! My fiance bought them for me for Christmas 2 years ago and they are still in great condition. I get compliments almost everywhere I go (from guys and girls) when I wear them. I feel like they sort of bring across a feeling of confidence...they are fun, stylish and refined. I also have the tortoise shell brown pair. You can dress like you totally walked out of GQ magazine or have a t-shirt, ripped jeans and a wrecked pair of sneakers on... as long as these shades are on your face...it reads "CLASS." Rayban, wayfarers are timeless classics! You can't go wrong with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous pair of sunglasses I've had this pair for about three months now, and I love everything about them! The matte finish makes them masculine and the brown color matches my hair color, so they're a great option for men with brown hair.
